HAPPY FATHER’S DAY
Fathers have a difficult job. They are the ones our minds go to first when we learn about God being our Heavenly Father. Our picture of Dad shapes our expectation of God… and most fall far short of presenting a good image. But godly fathers do their best to allow the Holy Spirit to shine through them to their families. We honor our fathers today. God bless all of you.

There will be classes for all ages, so invite your family, friends and neighbors to join us! Refreshments will be served.
Brochures for Camp Grace are on the table in the narthex for anyone interested. Teen Camp (9th-12th Grade) is Jul 22-26. Junior Camp (3rd-5th Grade) is Jul 29-Aug 1. And Intermediate Camp (6th-8th Grade) is Aug 5-9. Scholarships are available.
We rejoice with Wyatt and Naomi (Krause) Elgard on the birth of their first child, a son, Harvey Sander, born Friday, June 14th. He weighed 8 lbs, 10 oz, and measured 19¾ in long. We also congratulate Grandpa and Grandma Troy and Kelly Krause, as well as Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Jim and Kathy Zwaschka on their growing family. God bless them, everyone.
FIFTH SUNDAY EVENING – CHURCH PICNIC
For our Fifth Sunday Evening event we will have a pot-luck church picnic and games. This will be on Sunday, June 30, starting around 5 PM. Bring your normal picnic pot-luck stuff and Kelly’s committee will pro-vide the drinks. We plan to play games like bean bag toss and ladder golf for everyone to play. Let Pastor Marty know if you have either of these games that you can bring. Invite others to join us, too.
GREAT COMMISSION DAY OFFERING
The Alliance Is Sending! Because of the strong response to the 2018 C&MA Year-End Offering, 62 workers have been approved and commissioned at General Council who are ready to take the good news to some of the world’s least-reached, most overlooked peoples. But weaker than normal 2019 missions giving in The Alliance has resulted in a shortfall in funds. Your generous gift to the Great Commission Day Offering will help reclaim the sending momentum!
We will take our church’s Great Commission Day Offering on Sunday, June 23. Feel free to use the envelope in the flyer from your mail box or found on the table in the narthex. Or you can clearly designate the amount on your regular offering check for Great Commission Day (GCDay).
If you have any prayer needs, please contact Pastor Marty Reynhout at 605-860-8437 (cell) or firstname.lastname@example.org.
